Sleuth Points are how we recognize the sharpest investigators on Cold Board. Earn them by cracking cases, building theories, and convincing the community your read is the right one.
How to Earn Points
Post a Theory
Every time you file a theory on a case, you earn points. Free members earn +5 points per theory. Pro members earn +8 points per theory — a 1.5× multiplier that rewards deeper engagement.
Receive Upvotes
When another sleuth upvotes your theory, you earn +2 points. Quality theories rise to the top — and so do your points. The more convincing your read, the more upvotes you collect.

The Leaderboard
The Hall of Sleuths ranks investigators by lifetime Sleuth Points, and by points earned this week or this month. It is updated continuously as theories are posted and upvotes are cast. Only theories and upvotes received within the selected time window count for weekly and monthly boards.
The top three sleuths in any view get a crown on the board. Think you have what it takes to crack the top ten?
Content & Moderation
All theories are screened automatically for inappropriate language. If a post is flagged, it will appear greyed out until an administrator reviews it. Posts that violate community standards may be hidden entirely and will not earn points. Keep your theories respectful and evidence-based — that is what earns upvotes.
