When is a case “Solved”?

A theory is officially marked Case Solved when the community throws its weight behind it — 30 or more upvotes — and a Cold Board administrator confirms the result. The Sleuth who filed the winning theory pockets the full +300 pts bonus and takes their place in the case file.
